What is Waking Watch
A Waking Watch is a 24-hour fire-safety patrol in residential or mixed-use buildings where interim measures are required. Trained wardens remain awake, patrol at specified intervals, detect signs of fire, raise the alarm, and lead a safe, coordinated evacuation until permanent remediation or alarm systems are in place.
